British Drum Co. has established an enviable reputation when it comes to superior quality handbuilt snare drums.
From our earliest success with the stunning 20ply Maple and Birch Merlin, through to the superb Bluebird in chrome over brass and the studio favourite Big Softy we are proud of the range of snare drums we offer.
Our family of snare drums expanded with the introduction of the Aviator, a seamless aluminium shell snare drum, The Archer, a special drum handcrafted from English Yew, and Maverick, our first Maple snare drum.
In 2021, we were delighted to unveil our seventh pro Snare Drum, the 13" x 7" Purpleheart Super 7.

In 2020, we were delighted to announce two Nicko McBrain Signature snare drums, Icarus and Talisman, to complement our snare drum range.
These magnificent drums are really something special, with outstanding sonic properties, beautiful aesthetics and stunning details finished to Nicko's exacting standards.
