Scottish Power is currently led by Pipe Major Chris Armstrong and Drum Sergeant Jake Jørgensen who recently became an official British Drum Co marching artist.

The Band has won most major championships over the years and is a regular placed in the World Pipe Band Championships. Twice winners of the Scottish Championships, British Championships and Cowal Championships, the Band has also held the All-Ireland title and secured second place in the World Pipe Band Championships on two occasions.

In addition to the top-quality piping in the band, the Scottish Power Pipe Band is renowned for its world class drum corps, which regularly finishes in the top 3 at Major Championships. The drum corps were placed 2nd in the Champion of Champions table in 2022 and took their first major drumming Title at the British Championships in 2019. Drum Sergeant Jake Jørgensen is a regular prize-winner in the World Solo Drumming Championship.
