Corrosion Of Conformity

Having spent most of my touring career as a tech, I’ve recently has the good fortune to be asked to play for a few of the acts I'd been working for. I 2015 when I was needed to step in and cover drums for COC at Bloodstock festival. I’m now playing full time for COC and am also lucky enough to be using BDC drums and it is amazing! I remember the first time I came accross a Legend series Kit at a Drum Show in Manchester and was totally blown away with both the look and sound.  I made the move to BDC as quickly as I could. BDC have offered fantastic support over the last couple of years for which I’m wholly thankful and I wouldn't want to be sat behind any other kit.

In the last year I’ve switched to a Bluebird as my main snare and I love it. It’s super wide and open. Incredibly versatile. I haven’t found a pitch it sounds bad at and the over tones and harmonics record really well. I’ve moved my Big Softy over the use as a 2nd snare. Tuned low and tight for a big back beat. The legend shells have also proved great in both the studio and live scenarios. With COC I take the Toms as low as they’ll go and they handle this with ease and sound massive.
