I’m Jai from London and I play drums for rock/metal band ‘The Raven Age’. From listening to a wide variety of genres since I first picked up a pair of sticks back in 2007, I feel my own style has come from combining the heaviness and power of metal drummers with the groove and feel of funk and pop drummers.

After completing my studies at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in 2013 I joined ‘The Raven Age’ and it’s been a mad journey since. We’ve been fortunate enough to tour with some amazing bands such as Iron Maiden, Alter Bridge, Gojira, Anthrax and a load more and hope to continue playing across the globe until we’re headlining shows everywhere and anywhere. 

I’m sure I share that goal with many other drummers out there and I hope we can all achieve our dream one day!
